Tate is a four month old border collie. He weighs in at about 20 pounds. He is up to date on shots, microchipped and wormed. He is a happy pup with lots of energy and not much training. He is a thinker though and likes the training process. He is very friendly. We have been working on a great recall and he is very good about coming when called. He likes to play with the other dogs but is respectful if they say enough. He has a ton of energy and needs lots of attention and training. He would be a great agility dog. His house training has been very good. He goes out and does his buisness right away. He is not left loose when we can't supervise him though. He is a little possessive of his food with the other dogs when he is in an enclosed area. When we are out and about he takes treats next to the other dogs with no problems. We have been working on it being a good thing to have the other dogs around and trading for higher value things. He has really calmed down about it since being here but it will be something he needs to continue to work on. His tail is cropped probably by the rancher when he was born.
He won't be adopted out as an outdoor only dog. Dogs need to be inside where it is safe and warm and they can be with their people.
If you are interested in Tate please fill out an application FIRST before contacting his foster home at email@example.com
