LALA

Hey there! My name is LaLa and I am a five year old spayed female Border Collie who was surrendered due to a family separation. I am current on my vaccinations and the vet has given me a clean bill of health.
I am house trained, have wonderful manners and am a gentle quiet family pet. I am currently living with a foster family with two children and an Australian Shepherd where I enjoy playing with dog toys, running, playing outside in a secure fenced yard, and going for rides.
I walk fairly well on a leash but can use some more training there. I know several hand and voice commands. I do well with other dogs, kids and even cats. No chicken or livestock experience.
Sadly I've had a few injuries from falling out of moving vehicles, and will not make a good running partner. I will be great for shorter walks and hikes but can't be expected to go hard and fast and long. I am looking for a forever home as a family dog with a person or people who will make sure I get appropriate exercise and vet care considering my past along with the stimulation my herding dog brain needs, and most importantly, lots of love and snuggles with my people.
If you would like to be considered for adoption, please submit an application. For more information about Lala, contact Carmen at 541-519-4530 or Best Friends of Baker City at 541-519-7387. Please understand we are an all-volunteer organization and we make every effort to return inquiries as soon as possible. Thank you.
