FREEWAY
Hey there! Take a look at me. My new name is "Freeway" because I was picked up by the police in the middle of the freeway in Baker County. Nobody was looking for me so I ended up at the impound facility. I am now looking for a new adoptive home.
I look like a Border Collie/Heeler mix. It is anyone's guess. I am a young intact male who will soon be neutered. I am current on my vaccinations and wormed.
I am currently being fostered on a mini-ranch with kids, other dogs, rabbits, pigs and horses. What an experience. I am very nice, but it is obvious that I have had little training with commands.
I am friendly and love to receive lots of of loves from my foster family. If you are looking for a new family pet who will love you forever and provide you with much needed exercise, I am just the guy.
I also require a secure fences yard for my safety and to prevent me from wandering away. I do not ever want to ride in the back of a truck or pickup!! That is most likely how I ended up here.
If you would like to be considered for adoption, please submit an application and a volunteer will be in touch. For more information about Freeway, contact Carmen at 541-519-4530 or Best Friends of Baker City at 541-519-7387.
Please understand we are an all-volunteer organization and we make every effort to return inquiries as soon as possible. Thank you.
