Hello there!! My new name is Conner (we just found out my original name was Sage) and I was rescued from the local impound facility. I was so excited to jump into the back seat of a car and drive to a wonderful foster home where two small dogs live, a large fenced yard and friendly adults to greet me.
I am less than one year old. I am a red and white male Border Collie with medium length coat. I am currently enjoying the fenced yard and watching people, cars and dogs go by. I am not a barker, I just watch all the activity.
I have also been invited to be inside the house with my new foster family. I am so happy to just sleep by one of the dogs on my own rug inside the house. We will work on making sure that I am house trained and learn the doggie door to the fenced yard quickly. I will be sleeping in a large crate at night for now.
I am current on all my vaccinations, wormed and declared healthy. I will soon be scheduled to be neutered. I am such an incredible calm dog inside and outside. My foster parents are so amazed with my calm behavior.
I will be working on leash training and some important commands until I adopted. If you are looking for a great family pet to take on walks, hikes, runs and perhaps swimming, I am just the guy for your family. Fill out an application or call quickly.
Conner is currently located in Baker City, Oregon. If you would like to be considered for adoption, please submit an application.
