Who wants to play fetch?!?!! I am 2.5 year old neutered male rough coat Border Collie with a red and white coat and a gorgeous, flowing tail. I am current on my vaccinations and wormed, and very athletic and healthy.
I love being with my people all the time, but I do great in a crate when left alone if need be. While I've been OK with kids in the past, I'm a bit too busy and active for small kids, so an adult-only family or one with older kids would be best. I like to chase squirrels and get very stimulated by chickens and ducks, so I have some prey drive and need guidance for what's appropriate with smaller animals.
I am a fetching fool, so find me a good ball and keep throwing, I will get lots of exercise! Flyball or agility could be good sports for me, or make me your running partner.
I am extremely smart and know my basic commands and I ride well in the car. Being a sensitive soul, I am afraid of loud noises, so I should have a secure fenced yard to provide lots of room for playing and to keep me from running away. I sleep in a crate at night and go in it whenever I want to rest or feel safe. The only time I bark is at feeding time because I'm so excited to eat!
