Hello there!!! My name is Annie and I am a young female Border Collie mix. I am approximately 18 months, possibly younger but who knows since I was rescued from the impound faciity.
I had a litter of 9 pups about 4 months ago. Best Friends found home for all of them. I am now current on all my vaccinations and spayed.
As you can see in the pictures, I am a very healthy, happy and playful dog. I am currently living in a foster home out in the country with a single woman and her family pets of dogs, cats and some horses. I get along with all of them. I am learning lots of commands from my foster mom and work very hard to please her.
Now that the weather is warm, I really enjoy spending time outside playing with the other dogs, however, I also get to be inside with my family and do have my own crate for quiet time, bedtime and when left alone for longer periods of time. I am not destructive but the temptation might be there to get myself in trouble if left alone this early in my foster home experience.
I am house trained and have learned to let my foster mom know when I need outside. I am not a barker, unless I hear a strange noise outside or playing with the other dogs. I love to play with toys, so will need lots of play things to keep me happy. I have not been exposed to young children, but my foster mom says that I have the personality to greet everyone and love them all.
I am ready to go to a new and wonderful home with a loving family, with or without children or other dogs. I don't have much experience riding in a car, but I will never ride in the back of a pickup. It is a scary place for dogs to ride. I want to be your forever "co-pilot."
If you would like to be considered for adoption, please submit an application and a volunteer will be in touch. For more information about Annie, contact Carmen at 541-519-4530 or Best Friends of Baker City at 541-519-7387.
Please understand we are an all-volunteer organization and we make every effort to return inquiries as soon as possible. Thank you.
