Tipper is a beautiful red tri color about 23 months old. As you can see from his pictures, he is affectionate and loves attention. He would love to have a forever home. Tipper would be happiest with a female dog or younger dog as a companion. He comes out of his pen joyfully, comes when called in the yard, sits for his meals and enjoys brushing.  He walks on leash, sits when asked even in a strange place. When with strangers his reaction is always to melt and then give whoever is handling him a lick. His favorite  friends are our Labrador girl and Border Collie girl. He has found a plush "frisbee" and a squeaky rubber toy of which he is very fond. He has been accepted by our cat and shows little if any interest in him.  I am told by people who knew him as a youngster that he is good with children, is used to livestock, and good with other dogs.  He has had some experience around horses, running and playing with them.  (This last comment is from a former neighbor who raises horses and was very positive in her comments about Tipper).
