Boomer was wandering around Olympia with his name written on his collar in black marker, no other identification.  He went to the shelter and they asked rescue to find him a home.  This boy is another in a long line of neat young dogs that have lots of energy, tremendous ball drive, and need to have someone to provide leadership and bonding and then to become the dream dog for the rest of your relationship.

He's around a year and a half old, has the classic Border Collie frame, weighing in at 54 pounds.  He has a good recall and loves to be involved in a game of fetch.  He doesn't chew, is crate-trained, seems to be house-trained.  We've been working with him and he's learning not to jump up on people when meeting them, he's doing quite well.  He was initially reluctant to come through doors, perhaps due to some earlier conditioning, but is overcoming his concerns.  In short, he's very trainable.

Boomeris neutered and up-to-date on his shots.  He gets along well with the other dogs, behavior with cats is unknown.

Boomer would be a good fit for someone looking for an athletic dog that would like a running or hiking or agility companion and would you please be sure to have a few throwing-style balls.  Possibly even a frisbee.

Boomeris SPDR affiliated with an adoption donation of $150.  For more information on him, please fill out the online adoption application and contact Bob:  harleybob@att.net
