My name is Ellie and I am a young female Border Collie that was recently rescued from a mountain pass, while clinging to a snow bank with my sibling Piper. We were scared to death when unlong came this wonderful woman who ran across the freeway, snatched us both up and took us to her warm car. I was scared to death, but felt better once we got to her warm comfortabe home. I am a young dog, approximately 6 months old. I have medium length hair and a beautiful face with sharp pointed ears. Right now, my sister and I are getting use to being with a stranger who treats us with kindness, feeds us, bathes us and provides us with a warm place to be.. I am very timid and cautious right now, but know that I will get better about trusting my new caregiver and will come around to be a wonderful adoptable dog. My caregiver is a professional dog trainer, so i can asssure you that she will have both of us on a good start with basic commands and house manners. I saw a veterinarian for a well check, worming, and vaccinations. I will be spayed prior to my adoption. I do require a secure fenced yard. I want to be a family member living as an indoor/outdoor dog. I do not want to be an outdoor dog looking in at my family where it is warm and comfortable. I will be ready for adoption shortly. Meantime, I am living with my sister and other dogs in the home and adjusting fairly well snuggling up to my sister near the woodstove. PLEASE CALL BEST FRIENDS OF BAKER AT 541-519-7387 for more information or send an application. WE DO NOT TEXT BUT WILL RETURN ALL PhONE CALLS AND RESPOND TO ALL COMPLETED APPLICATIONS.
