Louie came to us from a shelter in rural southern Idaho where he was out of time to be adopted.  The shelter was very full and we agreed to take Louie into foster care.

Louie is a gorgeous smooth coat border collie.  He is tall and lean, weight estimated to be 38 pounds, age estimated to be 10 months.

Louie is crate trained and doing very well on his housetraining.  He gets along well with the other dogs and loves to play with them.  Louie is a little shy with new people, but doesn't take long to warm up.  He is intelligent and very affectionate with his foster mom.  This is a dog that will need regular daily exercise and to be with his family, not just a backyard dog.

Callie Blue # 823. Looking for a High Powered, High energy girl? I may be what you are looking for. I am ten months old, an Aussie with a beautiful tail. I'm quite full of myself, have not learned much yet and quite in need of some love and lessons. Not much is known about my history but I was turned into the shelter, my owner said I "Needed a Job". I get on ok with most dogs, tho I'd really like to be an 'only dog'.  I play rough with other dogs and sometimes they don't appreciate my Aussieness. Gramma says I'm not for the faint of heart and probably would do awesome at most doggie games, running on the beach, hiking and just kept busy.  I'm house broken (with our dog door), crate trained, spayed, vetted, vaccines are done and I am micro chipped.

Keep in mind this is a young dog who will need you to teach her proper behaviours. Young dogs are a lot of work and for them to be fun adults you'll need to make a commitment of care, training and love for 12-15 years.
