Look at this gorgeous guy! Jock is just over one year of age, a purebred border collie. We are estimating his weight at about 48 pounds. Jock is housetrained and crate trained, although he will counter surf if left alone in the kitchen. He gets along with other dogs and loves to play with them. Jock is not a dominant dog and is currently living comfortably with several other dogs. We do not know how Jock is with cats. He is friendly to all people and not at all timid. A nice, confident canine. Jock rides well in the car and will be on board before you can say, "Load up!". At his foster home he always rides in a crate, so we are not sure how he would be loose in car. This is one of those border collies that will get into mischief if not kept busy and well exercised so a training plan is a must for this guy. He loves to run big and he runs with joy! We have been told he does not have enough interest in livestock to be a sheep or a cow dog. His foster mom can definitely see him excelling at agility, flyball, or other dog sports, though. Jock does settle nicely indoors if he gets his daily exercise. Jock's adoption fee is $275 and includes neuter, vaccinations and microchip. If you are interested in possibly adopting Jock, please complete the application that is linked below his lead photo, then email Joan at findadog@hotmail.com. |
